Yep I am working hard on building now. Will get a bunch of domains in a week or so too.

I found some good deals lately – managed to get a month in cody moyas template club for $1 which was great but none of them are for my market so i figured I would find some headers and convert them to consumer electronics.

I came accross an incredible deal of 2000 headers for $50 which i snapped up. Only to find the next day that there are copyright problems with the package. Too bad – i will change the psd images and use them – it will be ok then.

Apart from that just going through the piles of templates and plr stuff i have trying to find relevant material. I have article miner too so content is not an issue.

My main 2007 promotional strategy is simple, straight forward and step by step.

It begins with the alexa top 500 list and Seth Godin’s Web 2.0 Traffic Watch List.

Only 30 of the Seth Godin web 2.0 sites are in the top 500. So the alexa top sites are the ones to hit but the web 2.0 ones may be worth consideration. You will understand shortly.

Its very simple. I start at the top of the alexa list and work my way down. While implimenting  various strategies i will be hitting many of the lower sites at the same time. Because they fall under the same umbrella strategy EG: tagging or video hosting, etc.

Many of the web 2.0 scuttle sites that are way below 500 in alexa can still be hit while implimenting the tagging strategy higher up.

On with it.

Yahoo, MSN, Google, The top 3 – sites online. You can use RSS on your home pages, groups, images and video to get links.
There will be more options too.

Impliment all of them targeting your keywords and URLS.

While implimenting your video strategy on google you will hit many of the video sites lower down the list at the same time.

Thats good.

Baidu – what are the traffic strategies there ?

Myspace – you know what to do.

Orkut – find out.

Ebay – this is a biggie !!! – Build your list, distribute a viral info product, establish your brand.

A featured ebay listing will appear in the top of google – so what does that mean if you target top keyword phrases.
Whats more – if you are targeting the same keyword phrase all the way through the top 500 list – You will Dominate !!!

Blogger – should have set this up while establishing your RSS on the top 3.

Amazon – use reviews and other methods.

And so on down the list i will go – researching for details on traffic generation from each site along the way.

There are other ways to get traffic and I’ll look at those too but i want to focus on the top 500 system.
